Course summary
Children can be employed in Victoria under 15 years. When undertaken safely and in accordance with the law, it can provide a great introduction for children into working life and can assist employers with their labour needs. In most instances a free child employment licence is required and only one licence is required to employ multiple children.
Licence holders must understand and manage the risks to children from the tasks they will perform.
