Jo and Hamish Govan are passionate about timber and furniture. They take something old and worn (and sometimes destined for the tip) and give it some much-needed tender loving care.
Pamo Industries have been at the forefront of up-cycling and the revitalisation of furniture right in Ballarat, launching in 2011 from humble beginnings in their backyard shed to a workshop and showroom in Ballarat’s historic Morley Mill.
The Govans believe in sustainability, and this reflects in their business, as they painstakingly take piece after piece of worn furniture and turn it into something that could be used and loved for many more years to come.
The best recycling is reuse and it requires minimum energy to restore something. I’m prolonging that life by restoring it and fixing it and let it be loved for another 100 years.
