The Victorian Government has announced 28 small-to-medium sized manufacturing businesses will share in over $10 million of funding through the Business Competitiveness Program.
The businesses will receive grants of up to $500,000 to help businesses expand their operations, introduce new technology and generate more jobs.
The 28 funded projects, worth over $35 million, will create almost 560 new jobs, helping drive Victoria's economic recovery.
The Business Competitiveness Program is a key part of the Manufacturing and Industry Development Fund. The fund will help secure the state’s sovereign manufacturing capability by improving production, creating sustainable jobs and strengthening local supply chains.
