The Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program is back and this time customers get to eat and play, any day of the week and anywhere in Victoria.

Thanks to the Victorian Government’s $25 million program, Victorians are being encouraged to get out and enjoy our state’s world-class dining and entertainment experiences, while saving money and supporting hardworking businesses across Victoria.

From 10am Monday 19 September, anyone with an Australian bank account who spends $40 or more on an eligible dining or entertainment experience will be able to claim back 25% cash back on their purchase. In this round, they can eat and play any day of the week across Victoria, including at venues in City of Melbourne.

Individuals will be able to claim a maximum of $125 across this new round of the Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program.

Businesses that promoted the program during the first round saw an increase in trade, and almost two-thirds of claimants surveyed said the program was a key reason for making their purchase or spending more than they would have otherwise.

Businesses can promote the program again by downloading the following updated stakeholder packs.

Included in the stakeholder packs are:

  • Suggested messaging for newsletters and emails
  • Social media tiles promoting the program
  • Downloadable A4 poster that can be printed and displayed.

There’s no need to register to be part of the program. Just provide your customers with a printed or electronic itemised tax invoice or proof of purchase (allowable for entertainment only).

Customers can then upload their tax invoice/proof of purchase via the secure Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program website.

The program is available on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted. Customers are encouraged to submit their claim quickly to avoid missing out.
