Jobs Victoria is addressing industry demand for workers in future tech with the new Future Tech Talent employment initiative.

The $2.1 million initiative that is creating 115 ‘earn and learn’ jobs in digital customer marketing can match your businesses with the talent you need to grow your e-commerce and digital marketing capacity. Grant Arnott, Executive Director of Global Marketplace and Click Frenzy, says he has struggled to find people with the tech skills he needs, and welcomes this new way to recruit.

“Digital businesses are desperate for staff who know the space. Giving people mentoring and much-needed digital skills in a growth sector will pay off for businesses and employees alike.”

Future Tech Talent recruits are being prepared for jobs in sales, business development, customer account management and digital content development, marketing coordination, and marketing analysis.

Businesses throughout Victoria are invited to participate in this initiative. If you are seeking staff in digital customer marketing and can offer a secure role for 12 months, you can access a pipeline of job-ready candidates who have received industry-related training and undertaken pre-employment checks.

Your new employee will also have a dedicated mentor who will support you both as the new worker transitions into your business.

Jobs Victoria is delivering the initiative in partnership with Think & Grow, a recruitment and advisory service that supports fast-growth technology businesses.
