The Victorian Government has announced 9 small-to-medium sized manufacturing businesses have received grants via the Low Carbon Manufacturing Grant program.
The Low Carbon Manufacturing Grant Program is an initiative to help Victorian manufacturers undertake productivity enhancing investments to enable them to participate in global supply chains for renewable energy and low carbon components.
The Business Growth Stream provides grants of between $50,000 to $250,000 to companies to purchase or develop new equipment, skills or technology that will enable them to make products or components that support the transition to net zero emissions.
The following businesses have been awarded a grant under the Business Growth Stream:
- Allume Energy – Richmond
- CBMR Pty Ltd – Thomastown
- Change Beetle Pty Ltd – Brunswick East
- Gasco Pty Ltd – Bayswater North
- Nissan Casting Australia Pty Ltd – Dandenong South
- SmarterLite Pty Ltd – Melbourne
- Pengrowers Pty Ltd – Boneo
- Rivierra Pty Ltd – Mordialloc
- TriCab Australia – Port Melbourne
