Service Victoria is making it easy to check the validity of Working with Children Checks (WWCC) with a new online bulk status checker.

The new online checker can check up to 1,500 WWCCs at one time for business owners and operators. Simply put the staff members' card numbers and surnames into a CSV file and upload it to the Service Victoria status checker. Service Victoria will send you an email with the results.

Digital Working with Children Check cards are also now available. Cardholders can store and show a digital version of their Check in the Service Victoria app.

You can see if someone’s digital card is current or expired by using the Service Victoria app to scan the QR code on the digital card. People who have been excluded from Working with Children Check won’t be able to show a valid digital card. The Service Victoria app can only scan a legitimate QR code, helping prevent fraud. Get the Service Victoria app from Google Play or the App Store.

More than 20,000 people have added a digital card to their phone. Plastic cards are still valid and can be used, but cardholders now have the option of a digital card.
