Join us as Northcote Rise Festival makes a triumphant return on Sunday 18 February infusing energy into local businesses and driving community spirit.

Prepare to be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Northcote's businesses! Sunday 18 February 2024 marks the highly anticipated return of the Northcote Rise Festival after a 13-year hiatus. Geared towards families, the event is set to bring feel-good vibes to the heart of Northcote, providing a substantial boost to local small businesses and the community.

More than just an event, the festival is a celebration of community spirit, local talent, and the essence of Northcote. The festivities include outdoor dining, family-friendly events, and live performances by local artists. Beyond entertainment, the event aims to breathe life into local businesses, stimulate the economy, and showcase the distinctive charm of the Northcote community.

Iconic Northcote businesses, such as the crafty Woolarium, the classic Rathdowne Records, and the mouth-watering Pizza Meine Liebe, alongside the rest of Northcote's renowned retail, service, and hospitality strip, will open shopfronts and stalls along High Street to bring the party outdoors.

Our famous Small Business Bus will also be stationed outside Dog & Bone at 326 High Street, offering information and resources for those looking to start or grow their small business.

Acknowledging the vital role of street festivals in fostering community spirit and supporting local businesses, the Victorian Government has allocated $450,000 to the Northcote Business Association to support business activation through the return of the festival. This commitment underscores the importance of small businesses in shaping our unique communities.

A special thank you to the Northcote Business Association and Perfect Events, who have worked tirelessly to organise this special event for the entire community.

Don't miss out on the good times! Head down to show your support for local traders, enjoy the festivities and visit the Small Business Bus.
