The Victorian Government is providing grants to more than 80 First Nations businesses as part of the Victorian Aboriginal Business Investment Program.
60 businesses successfully applied for grants of between $5,000 and $10,000 which can be used for professional activities including training, mentorship, networking, marketing, expert advisory services and accreditations.
Larger grants up to $100,000 will be given to more than 20 businesses across Victoria to help them expand into new markets, complete building works or invest in developing their workforce.
Successful applicants represent a range of industries including tourism, manufacturing and environmental management.
Businesses are located across Victoria, coming from more than 40 Local Government Areas.
Successful businesses will have until 31 October 2025 to complete their projects.
