Victoria Street in Richmond is entering a bold new chapter with the launch of the Victoria Street Revitalisation Project.

This initiative will revitalise this cultural precinct and spotlight the authentic flavours, stories, mural art and businesses that have shaped its iconic legacy. The project will focus on promoting the traders and working together to strengthen the offerings of this vibrant and diverse precinct, for locals and visitors alike.

This year marks 50 years since Vietnamese migration shaped the heart of Victoria Street. Their rich contributions have built a precinct full of spirit, from lively family-run eateries, bánh mì bakeries and shops to the popular Lunar Festival.

Backed by the Supporting our Multicultural Traders and Precincts initiative, projects like this are helping trader groups like the Victoria Street Business Association to provide multicultural traders access the services they need to grow and thrive.
