Victorian business associations, including trader groups, business chambers and industry organisations, can now access funding to help multicultural small business owners and their workers grow their skills.
Applications for the Multicultural Business Skills Fund Grant Program are now open. The program offers grants of $5,000 (excluding GST) to eligible business associations that support multicultural small businesses.
The grants will help deliver practical projects that provide business training and mentoring opportunities for multicultural businesses across Victoria.
The program aims to help multicultural small businesses strengthen their strategic, knowledge, people and technology skills.
This includes areas such as business planning, governance, marketing, cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI), customer service, staff development and more.
Funding can be used to deliver a variety of projects. This includes workshops, short courses, webinars, mentoring programs and in-language resources.
Funded projects must engage at least 10 Victorian multicultural small businesses owners and their workers and be completed by Friday 26 February 2027.
Applications close 4 pm Monday 28 September 2026, or earlier if all available funding is allocated.
Business associations are encouraged to read the Program Guidelines and the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) before submitting their application.
