One-month probationary period review guide

Hold a formal probationary review with your new employee at the end of the first month.

About the probationary period review guide

Probationary reviews give you and your new employee a chance to openly discuss the role and the employee's suitability.

Use our guide to help you set up and conduct a formal meeting where you can clarify expectations, address concerns and identify training and skills gaps at the end of your new employee's probationary period.

Aim to check in with your new employee regularly throughout their probationary period so you can address any concerns early on. You can also use this template for your 2-month review.
