Multicultural Business Precinct Revitalisation Program
The Multicultural Business Precinct Revitalisation Program offers grants to Victorian local councils to support improvements to multicultural business precincts within their municipality.
Victorian local councils can apply for grants between $50,000 and $250,000 per multicultural business precinct.
Funds can be used to upgrade visitor spaces, improve public infrastructure, install wayfinding signage and public art, create more inviting shopfronts and more.
Traders and business associations are encouraged to contact their local council to show support for grant applications and to use the Good Practice Guide for ideas on how they can contribute.
Applications close at 3 pm on Thursday 9 October 2025.
Good Practice Guide
Victoria’s multicultural business precincts are hubs of economic activity that have been shaped by successive waves of migration, business and government investments and sustained community efforts.
The Good Practice Guide is a resource that provides practical insights for business associations, councils and other partners on ways to collaborate to attract more visitors, boost trade and create vibrant, welcoming precincts.
The Good Practice Guide has been designed to inform key partners with an interest in Victoria’s business precincts including business associations, businesses, local councils as well as other organisations such as government, community and infrastructure development agencies.
